Enough Rain

OK. I've had enough rain.  Why don't we save some of this for July or August when we really need it?  I'm in dire need of a couple of days of sunshine. I want to go outside and exercise. I want to plant my herb garden. I want to get a tan.  I want the septic tank guy to put in my new septic tank so I can shower in my own bathroom. He has the hole dug, and now it's filling up with rain water. He needs some dry weather to put in the drain field.  Oh, well. I guess I'll work on the quilt. The inner border is on, so now I need to cut the outer border and sew it on. Then a backing and the quilt sandwich.  Then QUILTING! Looking forward to that. I'm going to do straight lines with the walking foot.  Hope it turns out pretty.  Something new for me.  Learning new stuff is fun.
