I've finished the new quilt except for the hand stitching on the binding.  I really like the way it turned out, and it looks great with my sofa.  So I'm keeping this one for me.  It is made with fabrics from the Moda Panache collection and the white solid is Kona Snow.  I quilted it with straight lines using my walking foot.  It was pretty easy, but it took longer than stippling.  I have to think of a name to call it.  I can't just call it Susie's quilt because I plan on making many more just for me.

I have already started cutting and stitching my next quilt.  It will be pinwheels made in springtime colors.  It is similar to the Panache quilt in that it starts with half-square triangles.  A group of four half-square triangles is the sewn into the pinwheel pattern.  Quite simple.  And I can keep adding pinwheels until I get to the size I want.  Should be fun.
