JEFF'S VISIT

We had a great time when Jeff came to visit.  He arrived on Thanksgiving Day, and after we picked him up at the airport we looked for a place to eat.  The only places open were Jim's, Golden Corral, and Marie Callenders.  We opted for the latter even though they told us it would be a 45 minute wait.  So we went to the bar to have a beer and watch the Cowboys play.  We ran into Joyce Morris who had made a reservation and was already a bit tipsy when we got there. We got a table, ate, and saw Joyce again as we were leaving. I think she was still waiting for a table.
Saturday we went to Austin and shared Thanksgiving with Liz and Carrie.  Afterwards we bought Carrie a new mattress and box springs for her Christmas gift.  Sunday was a trip to El Mercado, Monday we went to Shiner and toured the brewery and visited Sutton graves in Stockdale, and Tuesday we toured the Toyota factory. I was pooped after going and going all week with no naps, getting up early, and lots of driving.
It was great to see Jeff.  It had been two years since we last saw him.  Hope it's not so long until the next visit.
