I have all the blocks for Ike's quilt completed and sewn into rows. Next step is joining the rows and sewing together the backing for the quilt. The backing will be two shades of brown with something between them. I have not yet decided exactly what. I'll try to use of some of the scraps left over from the front. I'm going to try to get it finished by Father's Day. That may be difficult. Liz is coming tomorrow and staying the weekend, and I have a lot to do to get ready for VBS. It may turn out to be a birthday present. We'll see.
