We were busy this weekend. It started on Friday with lunch at Pizzaghetti. A woman driving down
Oak Street crashed into my parked car. It made the loudest noise, causing everybody in the place to jump. Then my car alarm went off. We ran outside to see the driver headed on down the street. But when she tried to turn right at the red light her car wouldn't turn. She had proof of insurance, which surprised me, because the policeman who responded to the accident had to call an interpreter because of her limited English. I hope the insurance card is legit. My car wasn't badly hurt. She barely scraped the bumper, knocked off the mud flap, and flattened my tire. Her little car was pretty much totaled. Serves her right for not paying attention to her driving. The first thing she said to me, and the only English, was "I wasn't on the phone." Makes me a little suspicious.Saturday Liz and I tie-dyed tank tops and shorts. They turned out so cute. It was really hot, and we looked like we worked in a sweatshop. Sweat was literally pouring off of us. We were ready for cold beer when we were finished.
